While there are suggestions to upgrade the Newcastle Baths to have a restaurant and possibly a bar; this is unacceptable as this is a family venue and we do not need any form of glass that could possibly break near the baths, The simple kiosk and the original style change rooms is all that is needed; with the mild exception of improving disability access to the change rooms and toilets. This venue must remain free and open all year round

When necessary, repairs and painting to preserve the structure in pristine condition should be carried out and as with all things the public should be informed what it cost annually to keep the pool in good order
